Privacy policy
Who this applies to
ZeusOS is software that gyms use to run their business. Zeus Athlete is the app members of those gyms use. When you are a member of a gym on ZeusOS, your gym decides what information it collects about you and why, and we process that information for your gym to provide the service. We also collect some information directly, for example when you use the app or contact us.
What we collect
- Account and contact details: name, email address, phone number, date of birth, emergency contact and photo, if you or your gym provide them.
- Membership details: your plan, status, start and end dates, holds and cancellations.
- Payments: amounts, dates and the last four digits and brand of your card. Card numbers are handled by our payment processor, Stripe, and are never stored by us.
- Attendance and bookings: classes you reserve, check-ins and no-shows.
- Fitness information: workout scores, personal records and notes, and, if your gym uses them, body composition scans and nutrition information you choose to share.
- Messages: emails and texts between you and your gym sent through ZeusOS, and your consent and opt-out choices.
- Purchases: items you buy from your gym's store.
- Signed documents: waivers and agreements you sign.
- Device and usage information: device type, operating system, app version, notification tokens, and logs of errors and sign-ins used to keep the service secure and working.
How we use it
- To provide the service to you and your gym: sign-in, bookings, check-in, billing, workouts, the store and messages.
- To send service messages, such as sign-in codes, receipts and class changes.
- To send messages from your gym that you agreed to receive. You can opt out at any time.
- To keep accounts secure, prevent fraud and fix problems.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Text messages
If you give your gym your mobile number and agree to receive texts, message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Mobile information and text-message consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
Who we share it with
- Your gym, which uses ZeusOS to manage your membership.
- Service providers that run parts of the service for us under contract: cloud hosting and database, payment processing (Stripe), email delivery, text-message delivery, and, when your gym uses assisted features such as coaching or nutrition suggestions, AI processing providers. They may use your information only to provide their service to us.
- When the law requires it, or to protect the safety of people or the service.
- A buyer or successor, if the business is sold or merged, under this policy.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while you are a member of a gym on ZeusOS and for as long as your gym needs it afterward. Payment records are kept for up to seven years for tax and accounting. You can ask us to delete your account at any time; see Delete your account.
Your choices and rights
- See and correct your details in the app or by asking your gym.
- Opt out of marketing emails with the unsubscribe link and of texts by replying STOP.
- Turn off app notifications in your phone's settings.
- Ask for a copy of your information, or ask us to delete it, by emailing privacy@zeusos.io. Depending on where you live, including New Jersey and California, you may have additional rights under state law, and we honor them. We will not treat you differently for using them.
Security
Information is encrypted in transit, access is limited by role, and each gym can see only its own members. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you and your gym if a breach affects your information, as the law requires.
Children
Zeus Athlete is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. A gym may hold information about a minor member that a parent or guardian provided; contact your gym or us to review or remove it.
Changes
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will update the date above and tell you in the app or by email before the change takes effect.
